Clients
Kevin works with clients on a wide range of issues depending on their needs and goals. Most often these are individuals who are interested in assessing where they are financially and / or professionally, and where they want to go from here. For many clients these two issues are closely linked.
Kevin also works with corporate and non-profit clients that are asking similar questions about their organizations, especially as they relate to financial sustainability and major-gift fundraising. |
Experience
From 1983 to 1998 Kevin was a partner and owner at R.M. Davis, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm in Portland, Maine. In this role he managed portfolios for retirement plans, endowments and high net-worth individuals. From 1998 to 2001 he completed a series of consulting projects for The Nature Conservancy international programs in Central America and the Pacific, focusing on eco-tourism and sustainable economic development. In 2001 he joined Maine Audubon as the Executive Director. He managed a permanent staff of 30 that grew to 80 during summer months. He led a $7 million capital campaign and helped grow the endowment by 50% during a challenging economic period. He left Audubon in 2008 to satisfy a long-standing goal to live and work abroad. He was appointed as the Country Director for Peace Corps in Micronesia. After two years he was appointed as Country Director for six countries in the Eastern Caribbean, an appointment that ended in 2012. Since leaving the Peace Corps, Kevin has been working as an executive coach and is also working as a trip leader for a global outdoor travel company and as an instructor for an experience-based adult outdoor leadership organization. |
